Fred Muscatello
P.E., LEED BD+C, ACG CxA, Lead Engineer
Fred has more than 25 years of experience as an engineer, project manager and consultant.
After serving in the Navy for six years on-board a nuclear submarine, where he held top-secret clearance, Fred graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Fred began his career as a Mechanical Engineer at consulting firms in Atlanta, GA. Fred moved to Orlando, FL in 1998 to work as a Mechanical Engineer at Walt Disney World Co. where he was responsible for commissioning and design support for theme park facilities and resort projects.
In 2008, Fred founded FCM Engineering to focus on sustainable buildings and green design as a consulting engineer and commissioning agent. FCM Engineering has focused on projects involving the USGBC's LEED rating system, GBI's Green Globes system, EPA's ENERGY STAR certification and the Florida Green Building Coalition's rating system. Additionally, Fred oversees all energy audits, energy modeling and commissioning services.
Emily Schlansky
Emily has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, both in corporate environments and as a small business owner. Emily was the Marketing Coordinator at ALC., a designer and manufacturer of building automation systems, and a product manager at BellSouth Corp. prior to founding an award-winning small business. Emily handles all marketing, advertising and promotion strategy for FCM Engineering. Emily graduated with a B.A. in Journalism, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
